Worship occurs each Sunday at 11:00, where we gather week after week to celebrate Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
In worship we gather around God's word, we confess our sins to God and are reminded that we are forgiven. We hear biblically-based sermons each week, and our church year follows the liturgical seasons of the greater church. We sing together, pray together, laugh and cry together, for we are a family of faith.
As Presbyterians we acknowledge two sacraments instituted by Jesus. The Lord's Supper is celebrated once a month and reminds us of Christ's sacrifice for our sins, and also reminds us of the coming reign of God in the world. We also baptize infants as well as adults, acknowledging that God's covenant with us begins far before we respond to God's love.
Music is important to worship. Our choir rehearses on Monday evenings and sings in worship most Sundays, helping us to encounter God more deeply each week.
Our sanctuary is also available for weddings. Contact Rev. Fred Boozer for more information.
We would love to have you visit our church family for worship anytime!
